Personal Umbrella

Two years ago, WAIC launched "Operation Troop Trunk" by sending care packages to soldiers serving overseas. In 2008, the program was expanded to all of our agents and industry partners. With their help, we collected almost 1,000 lbs. of snacks, toiletries, and other fun items that was sent to over 500 soldiers.  Many of these fighting men and women were friends or family of our agents and employees.  Others were found on www.anysoldier.com. All of the soldiers we helped were deployed from the Maryland/DC Metro Area.  

We're at it again! This year's Troop Trunk drive will run from May 1st through June 1st. Following last year's phenomenal success, we are eager to help even more soldiers this year! Please contact Kelly Shaneybrook to find out how you can contribute to our 2009 Troop Trunk drive!
